The decision to play music together was initiated by
Brigitte Schmid-Turrian.

She is the accordion teacher of Madeleine and Susanna. She encouraged the two of us to play the accordion in a duet. Because a dulcimer always belongs to an Appenzeller formation and the bass is the center of every formation, we asked Christine and Silvia whether they would like to play music with us.

Since 2003 the four of us are interpreting, cultivating, and swirling Appenzellermusik.

During our performances we would like to show our love for folk music and provide enjoyment to our listeners.
